It’s true, your coffee was roasted by a real bandit! I once lived a life operating outside the law, smuggling marijuana across the country in a small plane until I was sent to federal prison from 2019-2022. In prison, I found moments of comfort when I had a cup of coffee in my hand. Inspired, I wrote to coffee roasters around the country, asking about how to become a coffee roaster myself. Today, I find joy and solace in the craft as I work to rebuild with help from friends, family & a little coffee. I remain a Bandit at heart, but mostly, I’m just a regular guy who loves bringing people together with coffee.
